2020 was a rollercoaster year. A year in which all our certainties were shaken up. Yet, we do all we can to base our professional (and often personal) decisions on certainties, in our quest to always make the “best” decisions.

Good news for the Parisian diamantaire Rubel & Ménasché: the company has been attributed the French Living Heritage Company (EPV) label for the second time. This distinction, awarded by the French state, honors the workshop cutters’ technical mastery of traditional know-how, as well as the excellence and innovation of the associated industrial processes. 

On January 24, some of the Rubel & Ménasché team went to the Van Cleef & Arpels School of Jewelry Arts. The object of our visit was the lecture: “Fancy Colored diamonds: on the beauty of defects”.

Shedding light on every diamond: is this a selling point? A few weeks ago, I read an interesting article in a French magazine, which was pondering applications that decipher the ingredients in cosmetics labeling.

We are reaching the end of the holidays and to ease us back into work, whilst allowing ourselves to linger a little in the summer, let’s take a look at the high end jewelry collections presented alongside Fashion Week and the Parisian high fashion collections at the start of July.

Press release – The Diamond Development Initiative (DDI) is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with Rubel & Ménasché, the Paris-based diamantaire. Rubel & Ménasché has been a proud supporter since 2012.

To coincide with the launch of Fashion Week and the new collections of Parisian haute couture at the start of July, the high end jewelry houses also brought out new pieces and staged events. The beauty and creativity of the pieces for summer 2018 just keep impressing us. Look at the pictures.

The Diamond Development Initiative (DDI), the organization dealing with the traditional diamond mining, recently announced the appointment of Élodie Daguzan as its first Goodwill Ambassador.

On April 11th, De Beers representatives came to Paris to present their Blockchain pilot project called Tracr to the French industry.

The Annual General Meeting of the Diamond Development Initiative (DDI) was held in Ottawa on 27 and 28 April. Élodie Daguzan, the new Goodwill Ambassador for the DDI and Head of Communication at the Parisian diamond company Rubel & Ménasché, had the pleasure of attending this AGM.
