Supermodel Karen Elson is the face of Natural Diamond Council’s (NDC) newest campaign.
She wears Bulgari, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bucherer, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and many more brands in the first ever digital cover for Only Natural Diamonds, the NDC’s consumer-facing digital platform.
British-born Elson, 43, also a singer-songwriter, was chosen as a role model for “self-assured feminine independence” in a world where female self-purchase of diamond jewelry now officially outpaces the bridal market by value.
“There are few models who have the staying power of Karen Elson, who defined grunge-era-cool, then evolved into a runway maven par excellence, and then reinvented herself as a boho songbird,” said Sam Broekema, editor in chief of Only Natural Diamonds.
