The 73rd Annual Golden Globe awards held yesterday (Sunday) at the Beverley Hilton Hotel, showed the fashion statement seemed to be for diamond statement pieces in the form of striking earrings and stackable rings.
Kate Winslet was one of the night’s biggest winners, taking home the gong for Best Supporting Actress in a Dramatic Film for her role in Steve Jobs. She wore a striking figure-hugging cobalt blue gown by Ralph Lauren. She accessorized with Neil Lane diamond earrings and bracelet.
Jennifer Lawrence was resplendent in a red Dior Haute Couture gown, which she topped off with a Chopard choker featuring more than 156 carats of diamonds.
Surprise award winner Lady Gaga glammed up with a black velvet Atelier Versace gown and augmented her look with 210 carats of Neil Lane diamonds.
Perhaps the outfit of the night belong to Jennifer Lopez. She wore a marigold caped Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown and dsiplayed more than 200 carats of Harry Winston diamonds on her neck, ears, finger and wrist.
Taraji P. Henson, who won the award for Best Actress in a TV Drama for her portrayal of Cookie Lyon on Empire, wore a simple white custom Stella McCartney gown with cape accessorizing with Kimberley McDonald for Gemfilelds emerald earrings.
Singer, actress and dancer Zendaya, matched her tiered burgundy lace Marchesa dress with Yoko London pearl and diamond earrings, paired with a Lydia Courteille garnet and diamond ring.
Award presenter Kate Hudson wore a peach two-piece set by Michael Kors and was said to be wearing jewelry worth $1.3 million. The Forevermark pieces included a 20-carat round brilliant diamond drop earrings in platinum, 18-karat white gold, 2.97-carat diamond eternity band and an 18-karat oxidized gold, 2.8-carat diamond eternity band.
Award nominee Rachel McAdams also wore Forevermark to accent her floral Lanvin gown. She wore large diamond cluster studs, accentuated with smaller studs climbing up her ear, accompanied by multiple diamond rings. These included 18-karat white gold and 5.25 carats flower cluster stud diamond earrings, a Maria Canale Luna ring with 8.53 carats of round brilliant diamonds set in platinum, a 3.22-carat diamond eternity band set in 18-karat white gold and a 3.04-carat diamond eternity band also set in 18-karat white gold by Memoire.
Red Carpet host Giuliani Rancic wore three Forevermark pieces. A 10-carat round brilliant solitaire ring set in platinum, a 3.07-carat three stone diamond ring and a 1.64-carat three stone diamond cluster ring, both of which were set in 18-karat white gold.
