It’s been a long road for us all, but actress Priyanka Chopra and musician Nick Jonas have finally tied the knot—making it official with a series of opulent ceremonies and parties that saw the bride quite literally dripping in diamonds.
The couple threw both Western and traditional Hindu ceremonies in New Delhi last week. And the jewelry Chopra wore for both was downright spectacular.
For their Western ceremony on Dec. 1, the actress was swathed in Chopard diamonds. For starters, the actress’s wedding band is a platinum Chopard ring from the brand’s Haute Joaillerie collection that features 3.9 cts. of Ashoka-cut diamonds with an east-west setting (Nick’s plain 18k yellow gold ring is also Chopard).
Chopra also wore earrings featuring several major stones: a 7.63 ct. rose-cut pear-shape diamond, a 6.42 ct. rose-cut pear-shape diamond, and 2.86 cts. t.w. diamonds, all set in 18k white gold.
Additionally, she wore earringsin her veil—dazzling danglers featuring 12.26 cts. t.w. diamonds. (Nick donned an L.U.C Lunar Big Date timepiece from Chopard, which might have been notable were he not standing next to a diamond-covered Chopra.)
At the after-party of the Western ceremony (still with me?), the actress donned Chopard earrings featuring 115.63 cts. t.w. diamonds set in 18k white gold.
For their Hindu ceremony on Dec. 2, the bride wore reams of jewels, including necklaces and stacks of bangles, per Indian tradition, with a bright red lehenga by Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee (Nick wore traditional Indian costume, too). Mukherjee shared on social media that it took 3,720 hours to create this particular look, which was built to showcase the resplendence of Mughal jewelry.
