Starring CEO Sabina Belli and other celebrities, the videos emphasize the importance of supporting women who have experienced abuse.
Pomellato is speaking out about violence against women in its latest videos.
In honor of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, held on Nov. 25, the Italian jewelry company has created two new videos featuring actors, activists, authors, and influencers, as well as Pomellato CEO Sabina Belli.
“Everything Pomellato does is centered around women, so the most fundamental right of safety is something we need to speak about,” said Belli.
“I am passionate about supporting women, and with this message we want every woman who has been the victim of violence to know that they are not alone, that we listen and we believe them, we encourage them to speak up to break the cycle of violence.”
Belli is joined by Italian actor Alessandro Gassmann, Italian actress and author Drusilla Foer, activist and actress Kasia Smutniak, digital influencer Xenia Tchoumi, French actress Eye Haidara, French actor, director and singer Nicolas Maury, and German actress and activist Sibel Kekilli.
In the videos, available on Pomelatto’s YouTube channel, each individual speaks directly to the camera, encouraging women to speak up about and denounce violence.
Every day, 137 women globally are killed by a partner or family member, according to UN statistics.
