Press release – ALROSA Group announces diamond sales results for January 2020.
In January, ALROSA Group sold $405 million worth of rough and polished diamonds* (+44% YoY). Rough diamond sales to third parties amounted to $390.2 million, polished diamond sales – $14.8 million.
“January saw steady demand for rough diamonds as cutters continued restocking on the back of positive Christmas jewellery retail sales,” commented Evgeny Agureev, Deputy CEO of ALROSA.
