Tiffany & Co. has teamed up with the CFDA to present American jewelry designers with a new award. Inclusivity, excellence and innovation are the key criteria used to select the winner.
Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award
While Cartier’s “Talents Horlogers de Demain” prize honors young apprentice watchmakers from Switzerland, France and Germany, with applications still open until the end of August, this new competition will be music to jewelry designers’ ears. It will showcase American designers this time, because the award has been launched by Tiffany & Co. and the CFDA, the Council of Fashion Designers of America. More specifically, it is a partnership between the Tiffany Atrium social impact platform and the CFDA Impact program, which encourages young designers.
The Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award recognizes jewelry designers from across the Atlantic who represent diversity, are committed to promoting inclusivity in the industry, and are eager to showcase both traditional and forward-looking creative excellence, skills and craftsmanship.
“The inaugural Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award reinforces Tiffany Atrium’s commitment to driving lasting change in the jewelry and design industries. With a rich history of supporting inclusion and creative excellence, Tiffany & Co. continues to champion artistic expression and social impact,” said Alexandre Arnault, Executive Vice-President of Product and Communications at Tiffany & Co.

“The first of its kind, this award dedicated exclusively to jewelry is a testament to the CFDA’s long-standing commitment and mission to celebrate American creative excellence. Through the CFDA Impact program, we are thrilled to partner with Tiffany & Co. – a flagship brand with an iconic heritage – and Tiffany Atrium to identify and cultivate a new, inclusive generation of American jewelry designers,” said Steven Kolb, CFDA CEO.
