ALROSA Group announces diamond sales results for November and eleven months of 2019.
In November, ALROSA Group sold $287.8 million worth of rough and polished diamonds (+5% YoY). Rough diamond sales by value amounted to $282.1 million, polished diamond sales―$5.8 million.
ALROSA’s total diamond sales in in January-November 2019 amounted to $2,974 million. During the eleven months of 2019, rough diamonds were sold for $2,921 million, polished diamonds – for $53.0 million.
“November sales growth evidence that mid-stream sector, specifically in India, is on track to restore its balance. Somewhat more active purchasing activity at end-consumers in key regions also provide support to our sales volumes,” commented on November sales ALROSA Deputy CEO Evgeny Agureev.
