Flashback to February, when Rihanna rocked the 2017 Grammys in tangerine-colored Armani Privé and an entire treasure box of jewels, including a pair of earrings and a ring by Chopard. Turns out the superstar was secretly telegraphing exciting news.
The luxury Swiss jewelry house and none other than @badgalriri have embarked on a codesigned jewelry collaboration. The official announcement came last week.
“I have always been in love with Chopard’s exquisite jewelry, so to actually design collections with them is something I still can’t believe,” said Rihanna, who collaborated with Chopard copresident and creative director, Caroline Scheufele on a line of Haute Joaillerie as well as a limited-edition capsule collection. “It was a really incredible process and I learned so much! I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
Both collections bear the epithet “Rihanna ♥ Chopard” but diverge in terms of inspiration, aesthetic, and materials (and price point, naturally).
